A Harvest Bursting With Wonderful Gifts

Blessed Mary, Upham

Donations to the food bank have continued to come in at a rate that has amazed us.  Schools have played their part and we give special thanks to Wickham Primary and Upham Primary who together with the Church at Upham brought van loads of much needed supplies (main photo above).

We also received wonderful donations from Curdridge Church, their primary school and the nearby Hopscoth Nursery.

Carloads were collected from Bishops Waltham Primary School and also the Infants School (who are great supporters throughout the year).  Meonstoke Infants School also helped out with yet more important donations.

Four other local churches brought their Harvest Festival food to us,  St Peters at Bishops Waltham, St Andrew’s at Meonstoke, St Barnabas at Swanmore and Waltham Chase Methodist Church.

And finally St Peters at Curdridge who have been collecting for us for a number of years arrived with several car loads at the same time as 2 other deliveries so apologies that we have no pictures of any of you.

As you would imagine we are extremely busy helping families across the Meon Valley and we are incredibly grateful for all the support we receive from so many places.

With heartfelt thanks

The Meon Valley Food Bank Team
